Shout Out to Girl Power and Women's Wisdom
A two-minute read. Tuesday 8 March is International Womens' Day. It's a date in the calendar that we always celebrate at Grey & Co.
We see it as a chance to highlight women's positive impact on the world and show our appreciation for the females who add so much to our business.
Brent has had some remarkable women hail from it. Talented actresses like Sophie Okonedo and Lenora Crichlow, the outstanding author Zadie Smith, and sports stars like former England footballer Rachel Yankey.
Even closer to home, our team at Grey & Co is made up of a 50 per cent mix of men and women, which gives us a natural balance.

Josy – Accounts and Administration
Trisha – Property Manager
Me – Director and Chief Happiness Officer (I see my role as ensuring the team and our clients are all happy).
I've been asked in the past who makes the best estate agents, women or men? Unfortunately, it's impossible to answer as both genders bring different skills and approaches to the role.
As someone who runs a business and is a mother to a young daughter, it can be a fine (and sometimes tricky) balancing act.
It can sometimes feel as if I'm juggling too many balls, but I love what I do, adore my family, and have a great team working with me.
This year International Women's Day is particularly poignant with the terrible events happening in Ukraine.
Everyone at Grey and Co supports the women, children, and men of Ukraine as they deal with the most horrendous situation imaginable.
